Was about a year ago that I ordered a couple of pizzas. I have driven by daily from work to home for about 5 years and finally pulled the trigger. I want to say that I remember them being very good and am awaiting another stab at it after returning from the Virgin Islands after a year down there. Went back and got some delicious food yesterday and had to raise them from 4 stars to 5 stars. The Buffalo chicken calzone was amazing. Wife and kids really enjoyed the Village Special pizza. Pepperoni pizza and fries were very good too. The Caesar chicken wrap was huge.

We live in town and enjoy our small town pizza place...but it has changed a bit and the quality for price isn't always there. Greek salad is usually a bit wilted with one little olive-not the nice, crunchy Greek salad with several calamata olives it used to be. $11.50 salad is hardly worth it.

I ordered two pizzas, one gluten-free and one regular. Honestly couldn't tell the difference! So good! My only issue is that I am too far away for delivery!

Large pie and two drinks and got change from my $20 bill. Who does this anymore! Great pizza at a great price.

no single slice pizza but wait time for a small personal pizza wasnt bad. staff very friendly, prices fairly reasonable. pizza was pretty solid, nice sturdy crust, good flavor but not enough sauce imo would come back

We have lived in Alton for 8+ years and we've ordered from village probably 100 times. I'm near never wanting to order from them again because they have made mistakes on nearly every one of our recent orders. Today I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap, no onions. For some reason they left out the blue cheese. Two weeks ago I ordered a pasta dinner that comes with a side salad. The side salad was slimy and rotten. I like the food when they get it right, but it's almost never right anymore. I just wish they paid closer attention to orders and getting them right and making sure the salads are fresh.

We stopped for pizza and wings and completely enjoyed all the food! Just what we wanted. Excellent service and nice casual atmosphere

They have the best pizza around, hands down. It's always busy,so be prepared to wait a bit. It's worthy. When the weather is nice, you can eat outside. It's a very nice, cozy, little town atmosphere.
